tour this popular hotel and learn what goes into
making a business run, what challenges are involved,
and discover many of the career opportunities
awaiting in the hospitality industry.
Tour Highlights include:
- An exclusive hotel tour including guest rooms,
an overview of the hotel’s collection
of rare rock memorabilia and the hotel’s
recreational amenities.
- A behind the scenes look into the Food &
Beverage, Catering, Housekeeping, Guest Service
and Sales & Marketing departments.
- Discussions about the Hard Rock ‘brand’
and how the hotel incorporates that identity
to differentiate itself from other hotels.
- Examination of the hotel’s marketing
strategies and sales channels including Meetings
& Events and the Travel Industry.
- A look at the day to day operations of a large
hotel, from routine maintenance to coordinating
events to revenue management.
The tour ends with lunch at The Kitchen, the hotel’s restaurant. Students have the opportunity to meet and talk with one of the hotel’s chefs and learn about careers in the culinary arts.
